Information for Session Chairs

Please arrive in the meeting room at least 15 minutes before the start of your session so that you can meet the speakers for a brief introduction and check with the support staff that all presentations are available. 

Your main tasks will be to:
• start the session on time,
• very briefly introduce each talk,

• ensure that the speaker finishes his/her presentation within the time available, i.e. give the speaker a countdown
(e.g. display of 5 minutes / 2 minutes to the end) and interrupt his/her presentation if necessary
• moderate questions and discussion,
• end the session on time.
